Slowcooker black
Dutch designer Margriet Foolen created the Slow Cooker especially for Royal VKB. The versatile Slow Cooker is a cross between a maroccan tajine and the typically dutch stoneware stewing pots.
Slow cooking is cooking with steam and makes sure that all flavours, vitamines, minerals and scents stay in the meal. Without having to add any oil or other fats your fresh ingredients will cook slowly allowing for a wonderful distribution of all flavors. Other than maintaining all vitamins, minerals, scents and flavours the main advantage of the Slow Cooker is that you can place it in the oven and just sit back and relax.
Slow Cooker's porous stoneware is ideal for making stews. Because the porous earthenware holds moisture it will create steam once placed in the oven. This steam prepares food without it drying out, burning it or making it stick to the surface of the pot. With the Slow Cooker comes a sillicon ring so no need to use a coaster on your dinner table. The Slow Cooker is available in 2 colours: black and lime.
The Slow Cooker can be used in two ways. For single person meals you may use the white dish below and use the cone shaped terra-cotta part as a lid. To make a meal for 2 to 3 people you may use the cone shaped terra cotta part as a dish and the white glazed dish as a lid.
