Woollight
Woollight is a lamp collection designed by Beeldenbouwers. The lamps are made of second-hand wool blankets. The wool fabric has been treated to become translucent and keep a definite shape. The result is unique and stunning! The wool fabric creates a very warm atmosphere. Each Woollight lamp has a unique colour and pattern combination.
Beeldenbouwers is the artist couple Arno Tummers and Ellen Seegers, graduated at Academy of Arts in ‘s-Hertogenbosch(1990). They cumulate and construct their ideas about human and its build environment in a autonomic atelier practice. At the same time right there work comes into existance that asks for repetition in a setting of use. With that Beeldenbouwers seems to enter the territory of design production.
The production of the Woollight lamps is from the start till end handwork. Attentively done by Beeldenbouwers itself in its atelier.
